Local know-how
Port Coquitlam is mostly family neighbourhoods: 1970s to 1990s houses on Mary Hill, Citadel Heights and Oxford Heights, newer homes in Riverwood, and low-rise condos and townhouses around downtown. Basement suites are everywhere.
Houses on Citadel Heights, Mary Hill and Oxford Heights were mostly built from the 1970s to the 1990s with drywall over wood studs. That is our standard install, from $180 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches.
Many homes in Riverwood, Birchland Manor and Citadel Heights have a gas fireplace, and older ones often have brick. Above the fireplace adds $20, and brick adds $80 for masonry anchors.
Low-rise condos around Shaughnessy Street and townhouse complexes in Lincoln Park and Riverwood are mostly wood-framed, so it is drywall pricing from $180 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches. Check your strata rules on drilling first.
A lot of houses in Glenwood, Mary Hill and Oxford Heights have a basement suite. Framed suite walls are standard pricing from $180, and a bare concrete wall adds $50 for masonry anchors.
Every job covers the same essentials: we find the studs or anchor into masonry, level the mount at the height you choose, hang the TV, check that it is secure and clean up. You choose the extras.
Choosing a mount
A fixed mount ($70) keeps the TV flat on the wall at eye level. A tilting mount ($80) angles the screen down, which helps above a fireplace. A full-motion mount ($125) swings and extends for corners and open-concept rooms. You can also use a mount you already have.

Clean look
We hide TV wires three ways: through an existing channel for $25, in a paintable raceway for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50 with a fire-resistant HDMI cable. Power cords should not run loose inside a wall, so in-wall jobs use rated cables and hardware.
Real TVs mounted by Pixl technicians: above fireplaces, on tile and stone feature walls, in condos and flush Frame TVs.

Three steps, and most TV mounts take 45 to 90 minutes.

Nimona FTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an amazing experience with this installer and couldn’t be happier with the work. He installed three TVs for me, added lighting behind them, set up a sound bar, handled wall concealment, and even helped with mounting wall pictures. Everything looks clean, professional, and perfectly done. What really stood out was his patience and commitment. One of my TVs arrived cracked, and he had to wait over a month until I replaced it. Despite that, he came back without any issues and completed the job just as promised. Truly outstanding service from start to finish. I would definitely give 5 stars—honestly, even more if it were possible. Highly recommend! B D.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For most TVs over 40 inches, yes. We find the studs or the right anchors for plaster, concrete, brick and stone, level the mount, and can hide the wires, so the TV stays up and looks clean. About half of the people who ask us for a quote already own a mount, and we install it for labour only.
A 65-inch TV falls in the 61 to 79 inch group, so labour is $199.99 with your own mount. With our tilting mount it is $279.99, and with wires hidden inside the wall it is $379.49. Add $20 if it goes above a fireplace.
Store prices and what they include change, so check their current price. Ours is on this page: labour from $130, and the quote form shows your exact price before you book. We mount on plaster, concrete, brick and stone, we can hide the wires, and you pay after the job.
Yes, it adds $20. Newer PoCo homes usually have a gas fireplace, sometimes with a stone or tile surround (+$50), and older ones may have brick (+$80). We check the clearance it needs, and a tilting mount ($80) or a pull-down mantel mount ($70, or $110 motorized) keeps the screen easy to watch.
Yes. Most townhouses and low-rise condos in Port Coquitlam are wood-framed, so it is a standard drywall job from $180 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches. Stratas often have rules about drilling into shared or exterior walls, and suite tenants should ask the owner first, so check before booking.
Yes. Some 1970s and 1980s homes on Mary Hill and in Glenwood have a brick fireplace or a brick feature wall. We use masonry anchors set into the brick, not the mortar joints, so the mount stays solid. Brick adds $80, and above the fireplace adds $20.
For most rooms, keep the centre of the screen near your eye level when seated, about 42 inches from the floor. Above a fireplace it sits higher, so a tilting or pull-down mount helps. Our guide on how high to mount a TV has a chart by screen size.
Yes. There are three options: through an existing channel for $25, in a paintable raceway on the wall for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50, which includes a fire-resistant HDMI cable.
Most TV mounts take 45 to 90 minutes. Brick, stone or concrete, wires run inside the wall, or a soundbar added under the TV can take longer, and we tell you before we start.
