Local know-how
Windsor has a lot of older brick housing, from early 1900s homes in Walkerville and Sandwich to post-war bungalows in South Windsor and Fontainebleau, plus newer subdivisions in the east end and condo towers along Riverside Drive.
Older houses in Walkerville, Olde Sandwich Towne, Ford City and around Erie Street often have plaster and lath and a brick fireplace. We use plaster anchors (+$10) and masonry anchors on brick (+$80).
South Windsor, Fontainebleau and Riverside are full of 1950s and 60s brick bungalows. Inside, most walls are drywall or plaster over wood studs. Drywall starts at $110 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches, plaster adds $10.
In East Riverside, Forest Glade and the newer streets near Devonshire, homes often have a gas fireplace on the family room wall. Above the fireplace adds $20, and a stone or tile surround adds $50.
Towers along Riverside Drive, downtown and in East Riverside face the Detroit River and have concrete and metal-stud walls. We bring the right anchors (+$50 concrete, +$15 metal studs).
Every job covers the same essentials: we find the studs or anchor into masonry, level the mount at the height you choose, hang the TV, check that it is secure and clean up. You choose the extras.
Choosing a mount
A fixed mount ($70) keeps the TV flat on the wall at eye level. A tilting mount ($80) angles the screen down, which helps above a fireplace. A full-motion mount ($125) swings and extends for corners and open-concept rooms. You can also use a mount you already have.

Clean look
We hide TV wires three ways: through an existing channel for $25, in a paintable raceway for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50 with a fire-resistant HDMI cable. Power cords should not run loose inside a wall, so in-wall jobs use rated cables and hardware.
