Local know-how
Belleville has Victorian brick houses near the Bay of Quinte, a lot of postwar and 1970s homes in the middle of the city, and newer subdivisions on the edges. Each one needs a different anchor, so we ask about your wall first.
Many of the brick houses on Old East Hill and around downtown were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s and still have plaster and lath inside. We find the framing first and use plaster anchors (+$10).
Postwar and 1960s homes in the west end and around the East Hill often have a brick fireplace in the living room. Mounting into brick adds $80, and putting the TV above the fireplace adds $20.
Homes in Settlers Ridge, Potter's Creek and Canniff Mills are drywall over wood studs, often with a gas fireplace wall. That is our standard install, from $290 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches.
A lot of families in the north end and out toward Thurlow put the big screen downstairs. On a bare poured concrete foundation wall we use masonry anchors (+$50). Framed basement walls are standard drywall pricing.
Every job covers the same essentials: we find the studs or anchor into masonry, level the mount at the height you choose, hang the TV, check that it is secure and clean up. You choose the extras.
Choosing a mount
A fixed mount ($70) keeps the TV flat on the wall at eye level. A tilting mount ($80) angles the screen down, which helps above a fireplace. A full-motion mount ($125) swings and extends for corners and open-concept rooms. You can also use a mount you already have.

Clean look
We hide TV wires three ways: through an existing channel for $25, in a paintable raceway for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50 with a fire-resistant HDMI cable. Power cords should not run loose inside a wall, so in-wall jobs use rated cables and hardware.
Real TVs mounted by Pixl technicians: above fireplaces, on tile and stone feature walls, in condos and flush Frame TVs.

Three steps, and most TV mounts take 45 to 90 minutes.

Nimona FTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an amazing experience with this installer and couldn’t be happier with the work. He installed three TVs for me, added lighting behind them, set up a sound bar, handled wall concealment, and even helped with mounting wall pictures. Everything looks clean, professional, and perfectly done. What really stood out was his patience and commitment. One of my TVs arrived cracked, and he had to wait over a month until I replaced it. Despite that, he came back without any issues and completed the job just as promised. Truly outstanding service from start to finish. I would definitely give 5 stars—honestly, even more if it were possible. Highly recommend! B D.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Labour for mounting a TV in Belleville starts at $249.99 for screens up to 31 inches, $289.99 for 32 to 60 inches and $309.99 for 61 to 79 inches, before tax. Our mounts add $70, $80 or $125. A 55-inch TV with a tilting mount and wires inside the wall is about $469.49.
For most TVs over 40 inches, yes. We find the studs or the right anchors for plaster, concrete, brick and stone, level the mount, and can hide the wires, so the TV stays up and looks clean. About half of the people who ask us for a quote already own a mount, and we install it for labour only.
A 65-inch TV falls in the 61 to 79 inch group, so labour is $309.99 with your own mount. With our tilting mount it is $389.99, and with wires hidden inside the wall it is $489.49. Add $20 if it goes above a fireplace.
Store prices and what they include change, so check their current price. Ours is on this page: labour from $250, and the quote form shows your exact price before you book. We mount on plaster, concrete, brick and stone, we can hide the wires, and you pay after the job.
Yes. It adds $20. Newer homes in Settlers Ridge and Potter’s Creek usually have a gas fireplace wall, while older houses tend to have brick (+$80 for brick). We check the clearance your fireplace manual asks for, and a tilting mount ($80) or a pull-down mantel mount ($70, or $110 motorized) brings the screen down to a comfortable angle.
Yes. Finished basements with framed walls are a standard drywall job. If you want the TV on the bare concrete foundation, we use masonry anchors for $50 more. Renting? Ask your landlord before booking, since any mount leaves a few screw holes.
Yes. Plaster and lath is normal in Belleville’s older homes on Old East Hill and around downtown. We locate the wood framing behind it, drill carefully so the plaster does not crack, and use anchors made for plaster. Plaster walls add $10. Interior brick, like an old chimney breast, adds $80.
For most living rooms, aim for the middle of the screen at seated eye level, roughly 42 inches off the floor. Bedrooms and fireplace walls change that, and a tilting or pull-down mount helps when the TV has to sit higher. Our guide on how high to mount a TV has a chart by screen size.
Yes, three ways. We can run them through an existing channel for $25, inside a paintable raceway on the wall for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50, which includes a fire-resistant HDMI cable.
