Local know-how
TV mounting for every kind of Surrey home
Surrey is big and varied: 1960s to 1980s homes in Whalley, Newton and Guildford, newer houses in Clayton Heights, Fleetwood and Grandview Heights, many with suites, and concrete towers going up around City Centre.
City Centre towers
Condo towers around Surrey Central, King George Station and Guildford have concrete and metal-stud walls. We bring the right anchors (+$50 concrete, +$15 metal studs). Check your strata rules before booking.
Established neighbourhoods
Many homes in Newton, Whalley, Guildford and Bolivar Heights were built from the 1960s to the 1980s with drywall over wood studs. That is our standard install from $180, and a brick fireplace adds $80.
Newer family homes
Houses in Clayton Heights, Fleetwood, Grandview Heights and Morgan Creek usually have a gas fireplace, often with a stone or tile surround. Above a fireplace adds $20, and stone or tile adds $50.
Homes with suites
Large houses in Panorama Ridge, Sullivan Heights and Cloverdale often have one or two basement suites. Framed suite walls are standard pricing from $180, and a bare concrete wall adds $50.
What TV mounting includes
Every job covers the same essentials: we find the studs or anchor into masonry, level the mount at the height you choose, hang the TV, check that it is secure and clean up. You choose the extras.
Included in every install
- Finding studs or anchoring into brick, tile or concrete
- Mounting at the height you choose
- Levelling and a secure-fit check
- Connecting your devices to the TV
- Cleaning up before we leave
Before we arrive
- Have the TV and mount on site, or order a mount from us
- Clear the wall and the space in front of it
- Know which devices go with the TV
- Text us a photo if the wall is brick, tile or stone
Extras you can add
- Hide the wires in the wall or a raceway
- Soundbar and soundbar mount
- Frame TV or pull-down mantel mount
- Take down your old TV
- Devices behind the TV
Choosing a mount
Fixed, tilting or full-motion?
A fixed mount ($70) keeps the TV flat on the wall at eye level. A tilting mount ($80) angles the screen down, which helps above a fireplace. A full-motion mount ($125) swings and extends for corners and open-concept rooms. You can also use a mount you already have.

Clean look
Hiding the TV wires
We hide TV wires three ways: through an existing channel for $25, in a paintable raceway for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50 with a fire-resistant HDMI cable. Power cords should not run loose inside a wall, so in-wall jobs use rated cables and hardware.

Nimona FTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an amazing experience with this installer and couldn’t be happier with the work. He installed three TVs for me, added lighting behind them, set up a sound bar, handled wall concealment, and even helped with mounting wall pictures. Everything looks clean, professional, and perfectly done. What really stood out was his patience and commitment. One of my TVs arrived cracked, and he had to wait over a month until I replaced it. Despite that, he came back without any issues and completed the job just as promised. Truly outstanding service from start to finish. I would definitely give 5 stars—honestly, even more if it were possible. Highly recommend! B D.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. TV mounting in Surrey: questions
How much does it cost to mount a TV in Surrey?
Labour for mounting a TV in Surrey starts at $129.99 for screens up to 31 inches, $178.99 for 32 to 60 inches and $199.99 for 61 to 79 inches, before tax. Our mounts add $70, $80 or $125. A 55-inch TV with a tilting mount and wires inside the wall is about $358.49.
Is it worth paying a professional to mount a TV?
For most TVs over 40 inches, yes. We find the studs or the right anchors for plaster, concrete, brick and stone, level the mount, and can hide the wires, so the TV stays up and looks clean. About half of the people who ask us for a quote already own a mount, and we install it for labour only.
How much does it cost to mount a 65 inch TV in Surrey?
A 65-inch TV falls in the 61 to 79 inch group, so labour is $199.99 with your own mount. With our tilting mount it is $279.99, and with wires hidden inside the wall it is $379.49. Add $20 if it goes above a fireplace.
How much does Home Depot charge to mount a TV?
Store prices and what they include change, so check their current price. Ours is on this page: labour from $130, and the quote form shows your exact price before you book. We mount on plaster, concrete, brick and stone, we can hide the wires, and you pay after the job.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Yes, it adds $20. Newer homes in Clayton Heights, Fleetwood and South Surrey usually have a gas fireplace, often with stone or tile (+$50), while older houses may have brick (+$80). We check the clearance it needs, and a tilting mount ($80) or a pull-down mantel mount ($70, or $110 motorized) keeps the screen comfortable to watch.
Do you mount TVs in City Centre and Guildford condos?
Yes. Tower walls are usually concrete or metal studs, so we bring masonry or metal-stud anchors (+$50 for concrete, +$15 for metal studs). Most stratas have rules about drilling and booking the elevator, so check with your property manager before booking.
My house in Newton is from the 1970s. Anything to know?
Most homes that age in Newton, Whalley and Guildford are drywall over wood studs, so it is our standard install from $180 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches. Many have a brick fireplace or brick feature wall, which adds $80 for masonry anchors. We find the studs before we drill.
How high should my TV be?
For most living rooms, keep the middle of the screen close to seated eye level, about 42 inches off the floor. Above a fireplace it sits higher, so a tilting or pull-down mount helps. Our guide on how high to mount a TV has a chart by screen size.
Can you hide the wires?
Yes. We can run them through an existing channel for $25, hide them in a paintable raceway on the wall for $60, or put them inside the wall for $99.50 with a fire-resistant HDMI cable included. In a concrete condo, a raceway is usually the practical choice.
How long does it take?
Most TV mounts take 45 to 90 minutes. Brick, stone, tile or concrete, wires inside the wall and adding a soundbar can take a bit longer, and we give you an idea before we start.
Can you come today or on the weekend?
We work 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 8am to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 7pm. Same-day appointments in Surrey are possible when we have an opening, so call or text (587) 899-7495 to check.
How do I pay, and are you insured?
You pay after the job, by credit or debit card, e-transfer or cash. Our technicians are licensed and carry $5 million general liability insurance, and you can add optional extra coverage on the installation for 1, 2 or 3 years.
Also in and around Surrey
We also mount TVs in White Rock, Langley, Delta and Richmond. In Surrey we install security cameras (WiFi cameras from $200 for 1 or 2) and wired CCTV systems (free quote), and set up home theatres and soundbars. Mounting screens for a business? See Pixl for Businesses.
