Medicine Hat has some of the older housing in southern Alberta, with early 1900s homes on the Southeast Hill and in Riverside, 1950s and 60s houses in Crescent Heights, and newer suburbs to the south and northeast. Brick shows up a lot.

Crescent Heights is mostly 1950s and 60s homes, and Ross Glen grew from the 1970s on. Most walls are drywall over wood studs, from $490, though brick fireplaces are common (+$80).
In the Hamptons, Southlands and South Ridge, many living rooms are built around a gas fireplace. Mounting above it adds $20, and a stone or tile surround adds $50.
Ranchlands, on the northeast side above the South Saskatchewan, has mostly newer wood-frame homes with drywall. Walkout basements are common, and a bare concrete wall adds $50.
Every job covers the same essentials: we find the studs or anchor into masonry, level the mount at the height you choose, hang the TV, check that it is secure and clean up. You choose the extras.
