Local know-how
Langley ranges from 1970s and 1980s houses in Brookswood and Walnut Grove to the many new townhouses and condos in Willoughby, plus older homes in Fort Langley and Murrayville and acreages across the Township.
Townhouses and single-family homes in Willoughby and Yorkson are drywall over wood studs, and most have a gas fireplace wall. We mount above it (+$20) and hide the wires inside the wall.
Wood-frame condos in Langley City and Willoughby are standard drywall. Concrete walls in newer high-rise buildings need masonry anchors (+$50), and metal studs add $15. Check your strata rules before booking.
Most homes in Walnut Grove, Brookswood and Murrayville were built from the 1970s to the 1990s with drywall over wood studs. Standard install, from $180 for TVs from 32 to 60 inches. Brick fireplaces add $80.
Some older houses in Fort Langley and farmhouses out toward Aldergrove and Glen Valley can have plaster walls (+$10) or stone fireplaces (+$50). We ask about your wall before we come.
Every job covers the same essentials: we find the studs or anchor into masonry, level the mount at the height you choose, hang the TV, check that it is secure and clean up. You choose the extras.
Choosing a mount
A fixed mount ($70) keeps the TV flat on the wall at eye level. A tilting mount ($80) angles the screen down, which helps above a fireplace. A full-motion mount ($125) swings and extends for corners and open-concept rooms. You can also use a mount you already have.

Clean look
We hide TV wires three ways: through an existing channel for $25, in a paintable raceway for $60, or inside the wall for $99.50 with a fire-resistant HDMI cable. Power cords should not run loose inside a wall, so in-wall jobs use rated cables and hardware.
Real TVs mounted by Pixl technicians: above fireplaces, on tile and stone feature walls, in condos and flush Frame TVs.

Nimona FTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an amazing experience with this installer and couldn’t be happier with the work. He installed three TVs for me, added lighting behind them, set up a sound bar, handled wall concealment, and even helped with mounting wall pictures. Everything looks clean, professional, and perfectly done. What really stood out was his patience and commitment. One of my TVs arrived cracked, and he had to wait over a month until I replaced it. Despite that, he came back without any issues and completed the job just as promised. Truly outstanding service from start to finish. I would definitely give 5 stars—honestly, even more if it were possible. Highly recommend! B D.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For most TVs over 40 inches, yes. We find the studs or the right anchors for plaster, concrete, brick and stone, level the mount, and can hide the wires, so the TV stays up and looks clean. About half of the people who ask us for a quote already own a mount, and we install it for labour only.
A 65-inch TV falls in the 61 to 79 inch group, so labour is $199.99 with your own mount. With our tilting mount it is $279.99, and with wires hidden inside the wall it is $379.49. Add $20 if it goes above a fireplace.
Store prices and what they include change, so check their current price. Ours is on this page: labour from $130, and the quote form shows your exact price before you book. We mount on plaster, concrete, brick and stone, we can hide the wires, and you pay after the job.
Yes, it is one of our most common Langley jobs. Above a fireplace adds $20. We check the clearance in your fireplace manual, and a tilting mount ($80) or a pull-down mantel mount ($70, or $110 motorized) brings the screen down to a comfortable angle.
Yes. Most Langley condos are wood-framed and priced as standard drywall. Concrete walls in the newer high-rise buildings take masonry anchors (+$50), and metal studs add $15. Please check your strata bylaws about drilling before you book.
No. A few of the older houses in Fort Langley and on farm properties have plaster and lath. We find the framing first and use plaster anchors so the wall does not crack. Plaster adds $10. Most other Langley homes are drywall.
The middle of the screen should sit near eye level when you are seated, about 42 inches from the floor in most rooms. Over a fireplace it will be higher, so a tilting mount helps. Our guide on how high to mount a TV has a size chart.
