Fort McMurray has 1970s and 1980s homes in Thickwood and Timberlea, newer subdivisions in Eagle Ridge, Stone Creek and Parsons Creek, and many houses rebuilt after the 2016 wildfire. Add apartments, townhouses and mobile homes, and the walls vary a lot.

In Eagle Ridge, Stone Creek, Parsons Creek and the rebuilt parts of Abasand and Beacon Hill, many living rooms have a gas fireplace wall. Above a fireplace adds $20, and stone or tile adds $50.
Lots of houses in Thickwood, Timberlea and Waterways have a basement suite or a rec room for long winter nights. Framed basement walls are from $290, and a bare concrete foundation wall adds $50.
Apartment and condo buildings downtown and in Timberlea are a mix of wood frame and concrete. Tell us your building and we bring the right anchors (+$15 metal studs, +$50 concrete).

Choosing a mount
