Oakville runs from 19th-century houses near the lake to 1980s and 1990s subdivisions like Glen Abbey and River Oaks, newer homes north of Dundas, and a growing number of condo buildings in the Uptown Core, Bronte and downtown.

No. Plaster and lath is common in older homes south of the QEW near the lake. We locate the framing first and use plaster anchors so the wall does not crack. Plaster adds $10, and an interior brick wall or fireplace adds $80.
